IYF Academies offers a diverse and exciting set of practical classes to not only our volunteers, but to the local community as well.
At our weekly academies, the performing arts (dance and music), languages from across the world taught by native Volunteers and professionals, and much more allow for anyone to be empowered regardless of their background and economic status.

IYF Dance Academy
Do you love to dance? Do you want to learn to dance? If yes, then this Academy is for you. No special talent is required to join this Academy. Join others and become a part of a team of people who pour their hearts in happiness as they learn to move their bodies. Select Dance Academy.
IYF singing Academy
The IYF Singing Academy brings together melodious voices which comes together to form a beautiful harmony. Likewise, as they learn to do this each week, they also learn to bring together their hearts in one harmony. If you love to sing and want to join a choir that sings together from the heart, this is for you. Sign up now and select the Singing Academy as an option.
IYF Korean Language Academy
Ever wanted to learn Hangul (Korean)? Watched K-Drama or listened K-Pop Songs in Korean and really wished you knew what they were saying? Want to have conversations with native Koreans and others who know the language? Well, you have found the place where you did do all that and more. Sign up for the Korean Language Academy and learn korean from native speakers who teach in fun and dynamic ways. Spaces for this Academy is limited, and it also has a minimal commitment fee of $30 per month (IYF Volunteers only contribute $20).
IYF Korean Food Academy
Yup, you’ve heard right. We are doing K-Food Academy where you can learn to make selected Korean Traditional Dishes such as Kimbap, Bibimbap, Samgyupsal, and more. This Academy is a ‘make and take’ Academy; so, basically you take whatever food you make. We provide all the ingredients and items for each class. Spaces for this Academy is very limited, and it cost only $30 per class. Classes are held once per month.

The IYF Academies are life changing, because it not only focuses on delivering knowledge and skill, but it also develops and strengthens the mindset and heart of its participants., causing them to become even brighter and more radiant.
