The International Youth Fellowship (IYF) is a worldwide youth organization and international NGO based on Christian mindset. Its aim is to raise and develop leaders with a global insight through youth education, activities, and provide realistic solutions to problems in the global village.
The organization came to being in 1995, but was formalized and established as the International Youth Fellowship in 2001. Since that time, it has grown exponentially to having branches in over 100 countries. Many governments across the globe have recognized the power of IYF in changing the youths and have therefore requested the guidance of the IYF in educating their youth.
IYF is dedicated to the spiritual, intellectual, and emotional growth of young people around the world. Through propriety programmes, events and practical opportunities, IYF strives on a global scale to:
Advance Christian Mission work in developed and developing countries
Administer alternative methods of post-secondary education
Create international awareness and cultural exchange
Promote the value of meaningful performing arts
Facilitate short-term and long-term volunteerism domestically and overseas
Developing leadership skills that are applied on a global level
To develop the youth into future leaders by challenging them to overcome self-imposed limitations through proprietary programs, events, and practical opportunities.
To provide them with opportunities for a “Challenge”, a “Change”, • and “Cohesion”.
Raising and developing the next generation leaders who possess a proper mindset and humble character with global insight; Providing realistic solutions for the youth and people as a whole and strive for the development of human welfare through various social services activities; and improving the mutual understanding and unity between countries and nationalities though various international exchange programmes and activities.
